Callum Gleeson was born and raised in Kyabram in Country Victoria. His singing prowess was evident from an early age and he first performed at aged nine at the Mooroopna Country Music Club.
As a teenager, he performed in numerous talent quests throughout Australia, culminating in him winning the Gympie Junior Talent Quest and performing in front of a crowd of 60,000 people.
He was the Youth Ambassador for the children’s charity, Convoy For Kids, where he performed extensively with the patron of the charity, Adam Harvey. Callum also performed for the Tree of Life Ceremony and the Good Friday Appeal.
One of the songs written by Callum when he was 11, “Lose You Again”, released on his debut album, reached number 38 of the Most Played Independent Country Music Songs in the World.
Callum’s second album “From The Heart” also achieved extensive airplay with most of the songs written and co-written by fellow friend David Hipworth from Cohuna, who was the first person to perform onstage with Callum when he started singing aged nine.
Callum’s unique style and magnificent voice makes him a much sought after artist and so he performs both in Australia and overseas. He has released four albums up to date which are receiving extensive airplay. Callum performs at weddings, birthday parties and other private events as well as in pubs, clubs and at Country Music Festivals.
